Quick as a Cricket
This story is about a little boy who sees all different sides of himself. He knows that sometimes quick as a cricket and sometimes he is as slow as a snail. He recognizes that not everyone is the same all the time and that, that is ok.
King Bidgood's in the Bathtub
This story is about King Bidgood, he would not get out of his bath tub. Everything his court told him that he had to do, he did from the tub. Finally the Page Boy pulled the plug in the tub, forcing the King to get out!
the Bunyans
In this story the author uses real landmarks to tell a fantastical story of how they came to be. The story follows Paul Bunyan and his oversize family as they travel over the U.S. making historical landmarks such as the Grand Canyon and the Rocky Mountains. This story is of course false, but very cute and funny.
Piggies
In this story the author uses imagination and figurative language to present "our piggies" in a whole new way. Wood uses the out fingers to illustrate very different within each "piggie". It is a fun story with wonderful pictures!
Weird Parents!
This story is about a little boy who thinks his parents are weird. They pack surprises in his lunch box and call him names when his friends are around. In the end he knows that his parents love him and semi accepts them.
